AA Maintenance Management and Reporting System is a full-featured turn-key maintenance management system for small to medium sized workforces - about 2 to 30 technicians. To maximize your value and flexibility A and A Software uses common off the shelf hardware and software programs, many of which we will modify to meet your needs. We understand that no two maintenance projects are the same, so we customize the program business rules to your requirements. You also have the option of making changes yourself. The base programs are totally configurable.

Before you buy any Maintenance Management System; don't ask if it will do this or that, the answer will always be "yes". Instead have them show you the "out of the box deliverable application" and have them walk you through configuring it and show you what you will have to do to make it do what you want. Also ask them what else will you have to buy to make it work, hardware (servers, workstations, PDAs...), database software (Orical, SQL, Sybase...)? You will find that it will cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars and months of additional work to configure their software to do what you want. AandASoftware's business plan is to supply everything you need hardware and software, ready to go "out of the box deliverable." your company screen logo and all. All you have to do is enter your employee, inventory, and site information and you are ready to go.

No extra batteries or special power adapter required. The In-Hand Scan Card gets power from the iPAQ expansion pack.  It draws only a few milliamps of current in standby mode, extending the battery life of the iPAQ in the field.
